Founded by James Fortune, a Richmond, California native, the brand was sparked by a transformative period of recovery following an injury sustained during his service as an Oakland School Police Officer.

What started as a personal passion project soon evolved into a mission to redefine self-care through high-quality, plant-based solutions.

James brings a foundation of discipline and academic rigor to everything he touches. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and a Master’s Degree (qualifying him for university-level instruction), his approach to skincare is built on thorough research and a commitment to integrity. This dedication ensures that every bottle reflects the high standards of a founder who has spent his career serving his community.
